Immunosphère (2)

Je parle dans cette vidéo de géographies mentales, celles d’une humanité augmentée, où les points cardinaux sont en orbite géostationnaire. Par le biais d’une manipulation numérique menée tambours battant sur des textes de Peter Sloterdijk, je tente de redéfinir le vocabulaire d’une pensée écologique, de l’urgence de modifier nos consciences afin de faire de notre biosphère une immunopshère.

Dans un premier temps, il s’agit de rescénographier les extensions de notre corps, ces récentes transmutations orbitales qui s’apparentent aux révolutions apportées par les artistes et géographes de la Renaissance qui créèrent les premiers globes terrestres. Puis, à partir des conséquences que nous tirons de ces observations, il faut tenter de formuler des principes esthétiques inédits, tels de nouveaux attributs de notre humanité aux commandes de notre vaisseau terre.

Enfin, et si la première cartographie des ceintures de radiation encerclant notre globe terrestre fut étudiée pour la première fois en 1959, cet environnement exo-atmosphérique qu’est la magnétosphère nous a propulsés au-devant de nous-mêmes, dans une ronde céleste (star rounds) pour une éternelle répétition des schémas immunologiques propre au monde du vivant.

*Star Rounds, formation musicale rock où les créations musicales chantées ne comportant que des textes tirés du célèbre « Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra ». Serait-ce la première fois qu’une formation Rock entreprend de mettre en musique le chef-d’œuvre de Nietzsche ? La formation initiale, Alex Mittelmann (bass, electronic drum, vocals) et Christian Globensky (guitars, vocals), a enregistré à Paris un premier album intitulé BROTHERS IN COLORS, en 1998. Puis s’est joint au groupe Brendon (electronic drum and keyboards) pour le second album LIVE IN JAPAN, en 2000.

We shall speak here of mental geographies, those of an augmented humanity, where the cardinal points are in geostationary orbit. Through this thinking conducted drums beating on Artificial Intelligence, we are trying to redefine the vocabulary of notions of space, creation and value. In other words, to « resamograph » the extensions of our body, these recent transmutations that are similar to the revolutions brought by the artists and geographers of the Renaissance who created the first terrestrial globes. From the consequences we draw from these observations, we must try to formulate new aesthetic principles, such as new attributes of our augmented humanity: if the first cartography of radiation belts surrounding our terrestrial globe was studied in 1959, this exotic environment the atmosphere of the magnetosphere has propelled us to meet ourselves, that is to say, in an eternal repetition of the immunological schemas peculiar to the world of life.

With Star Rounds many musical creations containing only texts from the famous « Thus Spake Zarathustra », have already been recorded. Is this the first time a Rock band has set out to put Nietzsche’s masterpiece to music?
